South Asian born Dr Aanka Batta will lead a performance-based lecture and open floor discussion on post-colonial feminism. Aanka channels her experience as an Indian migrant into her poetry, using her work as a means of articulating her emotional experience of living as a person of colour in contemporary British society. Hers is a unique and timely voice – you won’t want to miss this event!
